As a small family business based in Toronto, Canada, we identified the need for quality Sri Lankan food ingredients in North America. Realizing a great demand existed, we set out to inspire North Americans and ex-pats with a sense of adventure to experiment with our unique cuisine and created this website to do just that.

Our ingredients are sourced sustainably from our Sri Lankan suppliers to promote economic growth and to support small business development in that country. Where possible, we have sourced organic products and this is indicated on our labels for those specific ingredients.

Further, we are keenly aware of the need to protect our natural resources and source our products from suppliers who grow their crops with an eye to protecting the environment not only five centuries
